John Mindiola is our Great Grandfather.  He raised 10 children in Pomona, CA in the 1940-1970's and "junking'" was his hobby.  He was known for finding items, cleaning them up, selling them or giving them away.  So eventually he earned the nick name "John Junker".  In his Honor we named our company after him as this is somewhat of a family hobby that has been passed down through the generations.   Some of his sons did it, then their sons and so on.  Today his Great, Great Grandchildren are "junking" too.  We honestly laugh and think it just might be passed on through the family genes.
